Andorra is a privately owned family business established over 40 years ago. From it's humble beginnings as a home base operation the company has now grown to employ 40 full time employees and established a reliable and efficient network of suppliers to produce over 12 million garments on average per annum. Andorra's head office/distribution centre occupies over 60,000 sq ft and has the capacity to double that if required. Founding Director Sam Goulopoulos works closely with his son Andrew to uphold the family values and foundation the company was built on. After 20 years in the business, Andrew now draws upon his experience from the ground up to set new directions and keep ahead of trends and ensure Andorra is at the forefront of leading edge technology in design / manufacturing. Andorra built it's reputation on producing high quality product at affordable prices and the loyalty of their longstanding customers is testament to these values still being met today.

Among our highest values at Andorra are loyalty, integrity and diligence. We work closely with our customers to deliver products of value and marketability. We continue to support local industries and are the largest user of Australian made Cotton Lycra ®. We source the latest and greatest trends on the international stage with regular buying trips and work side by side with buyers to interpret the trends and determine the best products. Our motto is “the customer is gold” and we stop at nothing to give the right product, delivery, quality and service so that our customers know we understand that they are our most important asset.

Our Team & Capabilities

Andorra has been built up and functions as a high volume low overhead business. Together with our 40 passionate employees we import over 12 million garments each year. This total buying power with our supply chain means we are able to handle both large volume orders at low margin and smaller orders at competitive prices.

Design

This is where it all starts. From the initial concept on CAD through to final production. We have a strong focus on design, modernism, detail and fit. Andorra has a dynamic in-house team of designers who have a keen eye for fashion and who specialise in patternmaking and grading of all our products. From market research, trend spotting or market opportunity our designers brainstorm artwork for individual garment concepts or storyboards, tailoring presentations to the specific requirement of each customer. By virtue of their skill, creativity, innovation and dedication we are able to keep ahead of the rest and stand out with not only high quality product at affordable prices, but something you want to wear or buy for someone.

OPERATIONS

Where the business end begins from concept to market. With the strong
relations we have built over all these years with our major suppliers we
have secured the best supply chain and speed to market that today’s
import environment can afford.
We work in close partnership with suppliers and have complete transparency
to allow component sourcing, production scheduling, quality and delivery to
reflect our principles.

Distribution/Logistics

Andorra has an on site pick/pack and storage warehouse.
We offer our customers the flexibility of quick response or indent lines.
We are prepared to invest in stock. We have the intelligence to commit to long term planning of fast turning stock to optimize sales. We have the staff and
resources to turn over high volumes in short lead time. Our collaborations
with the right logistics partners allow us affordable freight costing and first
arrival opportunity.

AUSTRALIAN MADE FABRICS

In a highly competitive market where consumer demands on price and quality have never been greater, Andorra has been committed to INNOVATION using Australian made fabrics.One of Australia's largest buyer of Cotton Lycra®, Andorra has developed, along side a local knitting mill, high quality and affordable fabrics that range from Cotton Lycra infused with aloe vera to the use of Australian Merino wool to make one the best thermal fabrics in the market today.

With an acute awareness of what the customer's expectations are in quality, comfort and price point, the collaboration of Andorra working closely with their Australian supply chain ensure they are at the forefront in design, quality and trend. Most recent examples of fabric innovations have been: Certified Organic Cotton with Lycra® - Certified Organic Cotton is made from organically grown cotton, grown without the use of synthetic chemicals, artificial fertilisers or pesticides, helping to preserve the world we live in. With the added benefit of Lycra® for enhanced stretch and recovery. Cotton Lycra® spaFX - Cotton Lycra® fabric that uses micro encapsulation to deliver natural Aloe Vera to help the skin feel soft and moisturised. Using this fabric we have been able to design a range of garments that pamper and care. Australian Merino Wool - Extra fine Australian Merino Wool for natural comfort and softness. Super wash treated for easy care. Also blended with Lycra® for enhanced stretch and recovery.

What's Next?

Andorra believes achievements are limited by vision, and we are proud that our vision is limitless. Our registered office in Hong Kong is our platform to entering the international market with the same successful model we’ve established in Australia. Already with interest from overseas markets we are intent to replicate our reputation of high quality prices at affordable prices, and are stopping at nothing to do this. TFIA

Andorra Australia Pty Ltd is currently working along side the TFIA to ensure companies like Andorra can continue to produce garments made from Australian made fabric without incurring 10% import duty (on top of the 10% GST that is already paid for on the fabric) which the Australian Federal Govt is attempting to apply as of 01/07/2010.
